Family Medicine with Obstetrics Hospitalist

Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center is seeking a Family Medicine with Obstetrics (OB) Hospitalist for a Per Diem opportunity in Kodiak, Alaska. This role is primarily focused on inpatient care, including comprehensive obstetric services, within a close-knit, mission-driven care team. Kodiak offers a unique practice environment where physicians provide broad-spectrum inpatient care in a small, adventurous community surrounded by stunning natural beauty. You will collaborate closely with local primary care providers to ensure seamless inpatient management and care transitions. * Inpatient care focused role, including adult medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics * Strong emphasis on obstetric care, including surgical obstetric coverage (required) * Per Diem schedule with 12-hour on-site shifts plus 12-hour on-call coverage * Collaborative environment supporting continuity of care from admission through discharge * Minimum 2 years of experience, including obstetrics * Comfortable providing full-scope inpatient care, including OB and surgical obstetrics * Physicians with Alaska experience or ties are encouraged to apply **Where You’ll Work** Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center is the sole provider of acute and emergency care for Kodiak Island.
