Duties
- The DSP would take over the caregiving duties for a specified period, ensuring the child’s goals are met according to their service plan.
- Engage in Activities: Participate in or plan activities that are engaging and appropriate for the child's age and interests.
- Maintain accurate care plans, document patient observations, and report any changes or concerns promptly
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each individual’s needs
- Meet with supervisor once a month to go over sessions
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to work with individuals that are medically fragile
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team
- High School Diploma
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is strongly preferred
