Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all administrative functions for the accounting department, to include assisting with accounts payable functions.
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE
1. 3 years’ administration experience required.
2. Experience with Accounts Payable module of accounting software preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS
1. Thorough understanding of basic computer skills.
2. Proficient in the use of Excel & Word.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provides executive-level administrative assistance to the accounting department, to include the Chief Accounting Officer and Controller.
2. Provides assistance with special projects, as needed.
3. Files copies of checks and supporting documentation for all Provident-based facilities.
4. Assists in preparing entries for Accounts Payable for Corporate and Provident-based facilities.
5. Assists Accounts Payables by coordinating invoices for check processing purposes, assisting with the check printing process, entering invoices and verifying invoice copies have been imaged correctly.
6. Other duties as assigned.
