Provident IT Partners is an IT Staffing firm dedicated to serving clients with their essential technology resource needs. We have a client seeking a IT Project Manager - Supply Chain & Warehouse Systems (contract). This person will lead and deliver critical initiatives across their supply chain and warehouse operations. This role will partner closely with business and technology teams to drive projects that improve efficiency, optimize logistics, and enhance warehouse systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on PM who understands how technology enables physical operations—from inventory flow to warehouse execution.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects supporting supply chain, logistics, and warehouse operations
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies across multiple initiatives
- Partner with stakeholders across operations, distribution, and IT to define requirements and priorities
- Drive implementation and enhancements of systems such as:
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Inventory and order management platforms
- Supply chain analytics / reporting tools
- Facilitate cross-functional communication and ensure alignment between technical teams and business users
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies related to data flow, system integrations, and operational processes
- Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization efforts
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager
- Proven experience delivering projects in:
- Supply Chain / Logistics environments
- Warehouse or distribution center operations
- Strong understanding of:
- WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, etc.)
- Data flows across supply chain systems
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly ramp up in new environments and technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Exposure to automation, scanning, or warehouse robotics technologies
- PMP, Agile, or similar certification
- Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or retail environments
