The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment in a clinical setting. They utilize evidence-based practices, technology, and therapeutic interventions while coordinating with the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Recognize and address patients' physical and psychological needs
- Ensure continuity and quality of care, prioritizing patient and family well-being
- Assess medical status upon admission and develop individualized treatment plans
- Follow documentation and treatment guidelines accurately
- Supervise care delivered by LPNs and CNAs
- Participate in clinical team conferences
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Montana RN license and BLS certification
- NRP and STABLE certifications or willingness to obtain within specified timeframes
- Preferred: at least one year of nursing experience in a similar setting
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, walking, standing, and operating medical equipment
- Strong communication skills and manual dexterity
- Regular attendance and on-site presence during scheduled hours
- Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed
- Effective verbal and written communication, quick response to emergency situations, and physical capability to assist with patient transfers and transport
