- Providing the Nutrition Care Process, including assessment, diagnosis, and documentation for patients of all ages.
- Developing and adjusting individualized nutrition plans, monitoring growth and biochemical data, and performing physical assessments.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure nutrition care aligns with medical treatments.
- Managing formulas and special recipes, troubleshooting outpatient issues, and coordinating resources for formula access.
- Offering age-specific, culturally appropriate nutrition education and counseling to patients and families.
- Documenting patient understanding and compliance, and using evidence-based guidelines for care.
- Participating in quality improvement, demonstrating professional growth, and performing other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics (Master’s preferred).
- Licensed dietitian-nutritionist and registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Knowledge of pediatric nutrition, growth patterns, and medical nutrition therapy.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a clinical setting.
