- Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for MRI procedures.
- Operate MRI equipment following safety protocols, ensuring patient comfort and quality care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
- Assist in training and mentoring team members and students.
- ARRT(MR), ARMRIT, or ARRT(R) cross-trained in MRI certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- IV competency within 30 days of hire.
- 1-2 years of MRI technologist experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- MRI imaging, patient positioning, safety, and protocols.
- Critical thinking, communication, attention to detail, and time management.
- Ability to see, read, and operate equipment accurately.
- Effective verbal communication and quick understanding in emergencies.
- Manual dexterity for handling delicate equipment, lifting, and transferring patients.
- Ability to walk, assist with patient mobility, and navigate busy environments.
- Standing for extended periods may be required.
