Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing professional nursing care in a long-term care setting under supervision.
Responsibilities: Ensure residents' health, comfort, and safety; assess residents; administer medications and treatments; document care and outcomes; recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond to emergencies; counsel residents and families; support interdisciplinary team collaboration; maintain confidentiality; and perform other related duties.
Qualifications and Skills: Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; current unencumbered LPN license; experience includes supervised clinical hours or a minimum of 400 hours as an LPN. For IV therapy, additional training or coursework is required. Must complete annual CEUs and maintain required certifications. Ability to establish effective relationships, communicate clearly, and work within a team.
