Seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams, including advanced procedures such as stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, and drainages.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate mammographic equipment to produce high-quality images following department protocols.
- Assist radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
- Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and comfort while adhering to radiation safety and infection control standards.
- Complete accurate documentation, coding, and quality control reports.
- Provide patient education and address concerns with empathy.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT Certification and State License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Preferred: ARRT Mammography Certification or ongoing training, imaging/mammography experience.
- Proficiency in mammography procedures, radiation safety, patient communication, image evaluation, and recordkeeping.
