- Perform active and passive manual exercises, therapeutic massage, and modalities such as heat, cold, water, and electrical therapies.
- Document patient records accurately and submit clinical documentation timely.
- Participate in educational meetings and department in-services.
- Report equipment issues, supply shortages, or patient and staff changes to supervisors.
- Apply infection control and universal precautions during patient care activities.
- Current state license to practice Physical Therapy.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- CPR certification.
- Experience collaborating within healthcare teams.
- Knowledge of geriatric physical, emotional, social, and biological changes.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
