**Description** Senior Mental Health and Wellness Clinician at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is PerDiem and will work 12-hour, Evening shifts. Under the direction of the executive director and/or designee manager, clinicians will be part of a modified PET (psychiatric emergency) team for both (Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach) campuses. Provides behavioral health evaluations and coordinates the discharge for psychiatric, and chemical dependency outpatient and inpatient referrals and/or transfers in conjunction with the physician and healthcare team. Will be registered as designated by the Orange County Health Care Agency, Department of Mental Health to evaluate and place individuals on 5150 holds demonstrating competency through training and bi-annual re-designation. Includes on-call PET coverage. Consistently demonstrates behaviors that model the SJHS core values and the Hospital mission statement. D. in Psychology or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Coursework/Training: LPS Designation (Orange County) at hire or within 90 days of hire date.
