Facilities Technician

Description

Facilities Technician at Providence Healdsburg Hospital in Healdsburg, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shift.

Performs duties in and around the Hospital physical plant and offsite locations. Tasks include plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs and preventative maintenance, general building maintenance, painting, wall repair, boilers and associated equipment maintenance. Also provides security to patients and the Hospital staff. Is on a rotational standby on call schedule.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of a trade/vocational school or equivalent maintenance experience per above job summary.
• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
• 2 years Experience in a hospital or similar environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong background in HVAC repairs.
