Credentialing Coordinator - Remote

**Description** Responsible for obtaining and maintaining critical credentialing data necessary for the initial and reappointment process of all practitioners to determine participatory status for the health plan thereby supporting the selection and contracting of practitioners who maintain the clinical skills and judgment necessary to deliver high quality healthcare and service excellence to all members of Providence Health Plans. Responsible for integration of current standards as required by the various regulatory agencies such as Medicare/Medicaid and the National Committee for Quality Assurance. Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them. **Required Qualifications:** Associate's Degree in Health Information Management, or Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, or Certification in Medical Staff Services. -OR- 3 years medical staff/credentialing experience. Demonstrated experience functioning in a team environment with key timeliness and productivity measures. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
