Providence Place of Pottsville is seeking to recruit a compassionate, customer service driven individual to enhance our residents' dining experience. The Dining Room Server /Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that residents have a positive experience during mealtimes. This includes training new coworkers on proper dining room etiquette and procedures; ensuring an organized process for meal service; communicating dining room needs to the Director of Dining Services; and ensuring that the dining room is clean and set for lunch and dinner meals.
Starting at $15.00 per hour
Full-Time: 10:30 am - 7:00 pm - Must be able to work EOW and EOH
Critical Success Factors:
- Superb customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must work well as a team and be capable of leading a team of coworkers in the dining room
- Knowledge of food handling, dining room, and/or hospitality procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in dining or restaurant service, preferred - Supervisory experience is a plus
- Completion of sanitation course (ServSafe) must be completed within 3 months of hire
- Successful candidate will be service oriented, demonstrate a positive attitude, and have a neat, professional appearance
