The Float Pool Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple hospital units, including Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Emergency Department, and Critical Care. This RN role offers flexibility and variety, supporting units during high census or staffing shortages while maintaining excellence in clinical practice and patient safety. Responsibilities
- If you have experience in Critical Care you are encouraged to apply! Must have at least a year of hospital experience. Great way to learn new skills.
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and documentation in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.Assist with procedures and operate unit-specific equipment safely.
- Adapt quickly to different unit protocols and maintain competency across multiple specialties.
- Uphold infection control standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for support staff; delegate tasks appropriately

- C urrent and valid state RN License
- C urrent BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- C urrent ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
- P revious Acute Care hospital experience
- V entilator management experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
