Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist patients in their daily activities, ensuring a high standard of care. This role is crucial in delivering quality patient care and enhancing the overall patient experience.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Help with catheter care and other personal hygiene needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records as required.
- Travel to patients homes and provide care for patients on Hospice
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant in Georgia
- Experience in Hospice strongly preferred.
- Basic life support certification is required.
- Experience using electronic health record systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
