Responsible for operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, load, and unload products while ensuring accurate packaging, quality control, and adherence to safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, verify, and package products for shipping, including shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.
Stage products for loading onto trucks.
Load products onto trucks and unload materials from trucks.
Move materials to warehouse storage and waste to dumpsters.
Perform quality control to prevent damaged product shipment.
Operate powered industrial trucks, including stand‑up, reach, order picker, and sit‑down propane forklifts.
Complete daily logs for PIT operations.
Adhere to SOPs, OSHA safety standards, and company processes.
Clean and maintain work areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
2 years related experience and/or training.
Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
Punctual and excellent attendance.
High school diploma or equivalent.
PIT proficiency: reach truck, order picker, sit‑down propane forklift; current certification a plus.
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small parts.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and walk, stand for long periods.
