Night Shift HR Assistant
Reports to: Director of Human Resources
Hours: Sunday-Thursday, 8:00PM-4:30AM
Location: Strasburg Facility (10190 OH-21 Strasburg, OH)
Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Shift HR Assistant to support our Human Resource department during overnight operation hours. This position plays a key role in maintaining employee support, updating records, responding to inquiries, and assisting with HR tasks that arise. This role will have the capacity to grow into a more complex role within the department as we continue to grow. The employee is expected to uphold and represent ProVia’s purpose, vision, mission, and values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- First point of contact for night shift employees on HR-related inquiries
- Help employees complete HR Forms
- Complete drug screenings and drug screen resulting
- Support HR administrative tasks including filing, report generation and data entry
- Assist with Benefit Administration and meetings
- Support Orientation Days 2 needs as needed
- Willingness to learn and develop HR Competencies
- Travel to and from all Ohio facilities as needed
Qualifications
This position requires a self-motivated, highly organized individual who can easily, effectively, and patiently communicate with a large variety of individuals (i.e. managers, supervisors, applicants, and employees).

- Proficient computer skills
- Detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- HR experience preferred but not required
Physical Demands
Ability to sit or stand, using a desktop computer or a laptop, as well as other office equipment and supplies continuously. Ability to walk throughout production facilities as needed. Drive to and from all Ohio facilities. Be present in the office daily.
