Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and comfort needs
- Provide compassionate, respectful care while promoting resident dignity and independence
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Assist with creating a safe and comfortable environment throughout the night
- Support nurses and fellow caregivers as part of a dedicated care team
- Respond to resident needs with patience, kindness, and professionalism
Qualifications
- CNA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Dependable and able to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Genuine compassion and respect for older adults
- Patient, tactful, and cheerful with residents, families, and team members
