Who you are:
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO is a must-have) in a fast-paced, smaller-company environment
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable owning end-to-end accounting processes with limited resources
- Empathetic, collaborative, and aligned with a mission-focused, high-feedback culture
- Oversee cash management, banking activity, and weekly cash applications while managing revenue and deferred revenue accounting
- Lead the month-end close process, reviewing work prepared by the Accounting Manager and Staff Accountant and producing financial statements
- Support annual budgeting, financial analysis, quarterly board reporting, and bonus calculations
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and oversee benefits-related accounting items such as 401(k) disbursements
- Fully remote role with a highly collaborative team and frequent Zoom interaction
