The Role
The Director of Human Resources is a key member of our leadership team, responsible for the development and execution of the people strategies that support clinical services and organizational growth. In this role, you will act as a primary advisor to the Executive and Senior Management teams, ensuring that our human capital strategy directly enables our business objectives.
Compensation
- $90,000 - $120,000 (commensurate with experience and senior-level qualifications).

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner to the President/COO, and executive team to design and implement long-range people strategies that align with the company’s mission, vision, and growth targets.
- Provide end-to-end oversight of all HR functions, including talent acquisition, total rewards, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Act as a lead advisor to senior management on organizational structure, workforce planning, and change management to optimize clinical and operational performance.
- Architect and oversee innovative, cost-effective recruitment and branding strategies to attract and retain top-tier clinical and administrative talent in a competitive market.
- Direct the design and administration of competitive compensation structures, incentive programs, and comprehensive benefit plans (Health, Welfare, and PTO) to drive employee satisfaction and fiscal responsibility.
- Lead a performance management culture that prioritizes accountability, professional growth, and high employee retention through continuous feedback and leadership development.
- Ensure 100% compliance with federal and state labor laws, specifically focusing on the regulatory landscapes of CT and MA, while implementing HR best practices to mitigate organizational risk.
- Manage HRIS (Paycom) and payroll integrity. Utilize HR measurement systems, employee satisfaction data, and exit trends to provide the executive team with actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Oversee company-wide non-clinical training and compliance programs to meet state, federal, and contractual requirements.

Qualifications:What You Bring
- 7–10 years of progressive HR generalist experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification is strongly preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite. Direct experience with Paycom is highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of Connecticut (CT) and Massachusetts (MA) employment laws, regulations, and processes.
- A high degree of integrity and trust. You lead by example with a constructive and positive attitude.
- The ability to manage competing demands and pivot strategies to fit the evolving needs of a growing organization.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
