Overview
We are looking to continue building our current team as Prova's business is consistently growing! We are primarily a breakfast and lunch cafe/restaurant located at the heart of downtown Buffalo, serving the many businesses and residents of the area. We feature attractive scheduling, as we generally only operate Monday through Friday from 7:30AM until 6PM, though may expand if we find the right fits for our team.

In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment while assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure a hygienic workspace.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients following established recipes and safety standards.
- Support the kitchen team with meal assembly and basic cooking duties to facilitate efficient service delivery.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, slicers, mixers, and other culinary tools.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen by adhering to strict sanitation protocols and cleaning schedules.
- Follow food handling procedures meticulously to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and prevent cross-contamination.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal prep, service times, and special dietary requirements.
Experience
