Responsibilities
- Create intricate braid styles tailored to each client’s preferences, including cornrows, reg/knotless braids, twist and locks.
- Apply hair extensions seamlessly to enhance volume and length, ensuring natural-looking results.
- Perform additional beauty services is a plus.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations regularly in accordance with salon protocols.
- Use salon software to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail transactions efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively to client needs, offering styling advice, and upselling retail products like hair care items and accessories.
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing wait times, and supporting store management with daily operations.
- Mentoring and openness to learn to foster a collaborative environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques including braiding styles etc
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and provide personalized recommendations.
- Retail sales experience with upselling techniques to promote products like hair care items or accessories.
