Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Critical Care Transport Nurse, located in Oakland, San Francisco, and Rancho Cordova, CA.
The Critical Care Transport Nurse will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to critically ill patients. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring patient conditions in a ambulance setting, administering medications, collaborating with medical professionals, and utilizing advanced medical equipment. The nurse will also play a key role in emergency situations, providing life-saving care and swift decision-making.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, and work autonomously.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Nursing and Critical Care Nursing skills
- Experience in Emergency Nursing and Critical Care Medicine
- Flight Nurse or experience Ground Transport CCT Nurse
- Strong knowledge of general Medicine
- Exceptional patient assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Current RN license and BLS,ACLS PALS, NRP certification
- Experience in the EMS industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
