Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and drive the AI product roadmap focused on transportation and logistics optimization.
- Align AI initiatives with business goals, operational needs, and customer pain points.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with operations, logistics, and back-office teams to understand workflows, challenges, and data sources.
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to identify gaps and inefficiencies in current TMS processes.
- AI Integration & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to apply AI/ML (e.g., predictive analytics, route optimization, demand forecasting, anomaly detection) within TMS.
- Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to design, test, and deploy AI models.
- Product Development & Delivery
- Translate business requirements into detailed product specs and user stories.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on impact, feasibility, and user feedback.
- Oversee product lifecycle from ideation to deployment and continuous improvement.
- Data & Insights
- Work with data teams to ensure access to clean, relevant data for model training and evaluation.
- Monitor performance of AI solutions and iterate based on KPIs and user feedback.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate product vision, progress, and results to stakeholders at all levels.
- Advocate for AI adoption and educate teams on capabilities and limitations.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally in AI/ML or data-driven products.
- Strong understanding of Transportation Management Systems and logistics operations.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including operations, data science, and engineering.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in real-world business scenarios.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with tools like Python, SQL, or data visualization platforms.
- Knowledge of supply chain optimization, freight management, carrier management or route planning.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI services.
