Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive women's health assessments and physical examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic conditions
- Provide annual wellness exams and preventive health screenings
- Provide family planning and contraception counseling
- Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
- Educate patients on reproductive health, prenatal care, menopause, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation within the EMR system
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered women's healthcare
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active Nevada Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) preferred; Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with significant Women's Health experience will be considered
- Spanish-speaking required
- Minimum Women's Health/OB-GYN clinical experience required (New graduates will not be considered)
- DEA certification (or ability to obtain) preferred
- Current BLS certification preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient education skills
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
