Key Responsibilities
- Receive, accession, organize, and prepare patient specimens for laboratory testing
- Perform quantitative and qualitative laboratory testing using LCMS and analyzer systems
- Analyze, document, and report laboratory test results accurately and efficiently
- Monitor and maintain Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures
- Perform instrument calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Maintain laboratory equipment, inventory, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, COLA, and applicable state and federal regulations
- Assist with laboratory workflow, inspections, and operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to deliver timely, high-quality patient testing services
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
- MT, MLS, CLS, or MLT certification required
- Hawaii State Laboratory Technologist/Technician license (or eligibility to obtain) required
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Minimum 1 year of LCMS, toxicology, chemistry, or clinical laboratory experience preferred
- Experience with LCMS instrumentation preferred
- Experience with Analyzer/EIA systems preferred
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced laboratory environment
