Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop treatment plans for small animals, including dogs, cats, and other companion animals.
- Provide preventive care services, vaccinations, and wellness examinations.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
- Administer medications, therapies, and other treatments in accordance with current veterinary standards.
- Perform or assist with surgical procedures (surgical experience is preferred but not required).
- Educate pet owners on disease prevention, treatment options, and overall pet wellness.
- Maintain accurate medical records, laboratory results, and treatment documentation using a cloud-based practice management system.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active Missouri Veterinary License or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Current DEA and BNDD licenses, or the ability to obtain them.
- Experience in small animal medicine is required.
- Emergency or critical care experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and build relationships with pet owners.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining high standards of care.
- Salary: $90,000 - $135,000 per year
