Senior Associate / Senior Counsel

About The Opportunity

A boutique law firm in South Florida is seeking an experienced attorney with a minimum of 5 years of Florida litigation experience and substantial experience handling Probate and Trust litigation matters.

The ideal candidate will be organized, able to work effectively under time constraints, and possess excellent verbal communication, legal research, and writing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle Probate and Trust litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Represent clients in various litigation proceedings.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Prepare for and participate in mediations.
• Handle evidentiary hearings and other court proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal pleadings, motions, and other documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Florida litigation experience.
• Substantial experience in Probate and Trust litigation.
• Experience handling depositions, mediations, and evidentiary hearings.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Must be a member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
