Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions, including:
- Sports injuries
- Diabetic foot care
- Wound care
- Biomechanical disorders
- Musculoskeletal conditions
- Perform in-office procedures and minor surgical treatments as appropriate
- Perform forefoot and rearfoot surgical procedures
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility and reducing pain
- Educate patients on treatment options, preventive care, orthotics, and rehabilitation plans
- Collaborate with physical therapists, pain management providers, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning
- Participate in shared call coverage rotation
- Support practice growth through high-quality patient care and community engagement
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited School of Podiatric Medicine
- Active Virginia podiatry license
- Board qualified or board certified preferred
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Ability to perform forefoot and rearfoot surgery required
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Outpatient podiatric care experience preferred
- New graduates are welcome to apply; 1 year of experience preferred
- Full-time outpatient clinical position
- Provider will work between:
- Woodbridge, VA
- Fredericksburg, VA
- Exact location schedule will be determined based on practice needs
- Expected caseload: Approximately 30-40 patients per day
- Shared call rotation with other podiatrists
- No additional shift differential for call, weekends, or nights
