This role oversees all HR functions, including labor relations, recruitment, compliance, and employee development, while fostering a positive, people-first culture.
Responsibilities
- Serve as strategic HR advisor to executive leadership
- Lead employee relations, engagement, and retention initiatives
- Oversee labor relations, union partnerships, and negotiations
- Guide leaders on performance management and employee issues
- Direct recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning
- Ensure HR compliance, reporting, and policy administration
- Analyze workforce data to improve operations and retention
- Supervise and develop HR team members
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Experience across employee relations, labor relations, recruitment, and compliance
- Prior experience supervising HR staff
- Acute care hospital or healthcare HR experience
- Experience in organizations with 100 employees
- Strong union/labor relations experience
- Experience with collective bargaining agreements, grievances, and negotiations
- HR Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)

Salary : $110,000 - $136,000
