Job Summary & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations using standardized tools, clinical observations, and caregiver input
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's history, strengths, challenges, and therapeutic goals
- Provide ongoing therapy, monitor progress, and update treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with and educate caregivers to optimize treatment carryover
- Work as an active member of a multidisciplinary team
- Complete accurate and timely documentation, including daily notes, progress reports, evaluations, and discharge summaries
- Participate in professional development and continuing education
- Maintain excellent communication with schools, caregivers, and team members
- Participate in required annual fundraising events (Telethon, Charity Walk)
- Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Missouri OT license (permanent or temporary required to begin)
- New graduates welcome (must have completed a pediatric clinical assignment)
- No additional certifications required
- Must be willing to commit to a 9-month contract (aligned with the school year)
- Direct deposit every other Friday
