Key Responsibilities
Front Office Operations
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients and families
- Answer phone calls promptly and professionally
- Schedule evaluations and ongoing therapy sessions
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and efficient front office environment
- Verify insurance benefits prior to evaluations
- Clearly explain coverage, copays, and deductibles to families
- Manage patient accounts using Tebra
- Coordinate with the billing team to ensure accurate claims processing
- Assist in resolving billing inquiries and issues
- Support and improve front office systems and workflows
- Ensure smooth communication between therapists, billing, and families
- Track and manage authorizations, referrals, and required documentation
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical front office or therapy clinic
- Strong knowledge of insurance processes (required)
- Spanish-speaking preferred
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Friendly, confident, and professional in patient interactions
- Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of ownership
- Play a key role in clinic operations, not just a front desk function
