Shifts: (Mon-Fri) - 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM(No on call/Weekends Responsibilities)

Summary

We are seeking compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapists to join our school-based therapy team serving preschool and school-aged students in the Akron/Canton, Ohio area. The Occupational Therapist will assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that support students' participation, independence, and success in educational activities.

Responsibilities :-

• Evaluate students to determine occupational therapy needs and eligibility for services
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to preschool and school-aged students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal development
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines
• Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom accommodations, and therapeutic interventions
  
  

Qualifications :-

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Ohio Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred but not required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Current CPR certification preferred
• NBCOT certification preferred
