We are seeking compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapists to join our school-based therapy team serving preschool and school-aged students in the Akron/Canton, Ohio area. The Occupational Therapist will assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that support students' participation, independence, and success in educational activities.
Responsibilities :-
- Evaluate students to determine occupational therapy needs and eligibility for services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to preschool and school-aged students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines
- Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom accommodations, and therapeutic interventions
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Active Ohio Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred but not required
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Current CPR certification preferred
- NBCOT certification preferred
