Key Responsibilities
- Conduct annual wellness visits and routine physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
- Manage chronic medical conditions using evidence-based care
- Provide preventive healthcare services and patient education
- Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications within scope of practice
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients on disease prevention, medication management, and healthy lifestyle practices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote patient-centered care
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required
- Active Georgia Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license preferred
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
- Spanish proficiency required
- Primary Care experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative outpatient care team
- Compensation: Based on experience
