Position Highlights
- Full-time nocturnist schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Consistent 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
- Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support from 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM
- Average of 8 admissions per shift
- Cross-cover responsibilities for hospitalized patients
- Manage rapid response events and code situations
- No procedures required
- Open ICU model
- Hospital average daily census of approximately 120 patients
- Collaborative multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality patient care
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted North Carolina medical license
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced inpatient setting
