General Liability Associate Attorney

Responsibilities and Duties

Associates are given meaningful, hands on legal work at every stage of their careers while working closely with other attorneys and Partners. Independently manage a litigation caseload working on cases from beginning to end, including handling court appearances, depositions and communicating with clients. Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a track record of insightful research and persuasive writing abilities. Must also have the ability and desire to provide excellent work product that reflects strong research, writing, and analytical skills as well as drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.

Qualifications And Skills

• JD from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in California
• Experienced lawyer with salary commensurate with experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Trial experience is a plus but not required
• Excellent oral advocacy skills and excellent writing skills absolutely required
• Must be able to routinely meet deadlines and be prepared to be responsive to client requests/needs on a daily basis
• State court experience
