Highly regarded South Florida boutique family law firm specializing in high and ultra-high net worth matters is seeking experienced Family Law Paralegals to support attorneys on complex family law cases. The role will focus on sophisticated matters involving high net worth divorce, equitable distribution, business valuation support, complex financial discovery, custody and timesharing matters, and full litigation case support through trial.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys in complex family law cases from intake through trial
- Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery requests/responses, financial affidavits, and case documents
- Assist with discovery management, document review, and production tracking
- Organize and analyze financial records for high net worth divorce cases
- Coordinate with forensic accountants, valuation experts, and external consultants
- Prepare trial materials, exhibits, and hearing binders
- Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and filing requirements
- Communicate with clients as directed by attorneys, ensuring professionalism and discretion
- Assist with case preparation for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
- 5-8 years of family law paralegal experience (required)
- Strong experience in high net worth / complex divorce matters (required)
- Proficiency in handling financial discovery and asset documentation
- Familiarity with equitable distribution, alimony, and custody cases
- Experience supporting litigated family law cases through trial strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational, research, and drafting skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
- Strong communication and client support skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes boutique environment
- Salary: Commensurate with experience and competitive with top family law boutiques in South Florida
