Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Coverage for additional shifts, evenings, and weekends as needed
  
  

Job Summary: Seeking a Director of Milieu Services to lead the daily operations of a residential behavioral health program. This leadership role is responsible for supervising staff, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment, and driving high-quality patient care outcomes. The Director will oversee clinical operations, staffing, compliance, and team development while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support client success.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to Milieu Supervisors and Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs)
• Ensure a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for clients
• Manage staffing schedules based on census and acuity levels
• Oversee client safety protocols, monitoring, and daily operations
• Lead onboarding, training, and performance management of staff
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and accreditation standards
• Conduct shift briefings, team meetings, and daily handoff communications
• Monitor documentation accuracy and timely completion
• Support crisis intervention and assist in complex client situations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment planning
• Facilitate programming, activities, and engagement within the milieu
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and reporting
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a behavioral healthcare setting
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage high-acuity environments and crises
• Knowledge of behavioral health operations, safety standards, and compliance
