- Collaborate with internal teams to align financial and operational strategies
- Improve financial systems, workflows, and processes for scalability
- Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of financial outputs
- Identify risks and provide proactive solutions
- Lead underwriting for development and acquisition or rehabilitation projects
- Build and maintain complex financial models across multiple capital structures
- Perform sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and market evaluation
- Track market trends including financing, pricing, and construction costs
- Manage lender and investor outreach, including bid packages and term sheet analysis
- Review legal and financial documents including partnership and loan agreements
- Support full transaction lifecycle from underwriting to closing
- Coordinate financial reporting, construction draws, and lender requirements
- Assist with tax structuring and insurance-related considerations
- Support investor and lender reporting post-closing
- Assist with budgeting and performance monitoring
- Identify opportunities to improve asset performance
- Resolve issues quickly to maintain timelines
- Develop financial tools and templates
- Support broader finance and development team needs
- Strong experience in real estate finance, development, or capital markets
- Expertise in financial modeling and underwriting
- Experience with affordable housing and tax credit structures preferred
- Knowledge of debt and equity structures, including complex financing arrangements
