Roles And Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including:
- Obstetric (prenatal) ultrasounds
- Gynecological ultrasounds
- Abdominal ultrasounds as needed
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, including GE Voluson Signature 20 (3D/4D)
- Ensure accurate imaging and proper documentation of findings
- Collaborate with physicians, certified nurse midwives, and physician assistants to support patient care
- Maintain and update patient records using Greenway Prime Chart EMR system
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain imaging processes clearly
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times
- Adhere to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Required:
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
- RDMS certification in OB/GYN
- Proficiency in prenatal and gynecological ultrasound imaging
- Preferred:
- Experience with GE Voluson ultrasound systems
- Familiarity with Greenway Prime Chart or similar EMR systems
