Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing rural health dermatology practice in North Carolina. This role focuses exclusively on medical dermatology, providing comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of skin conditions while collaborating with supervising physicians to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-body skin examinations and diagnose/treat conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis, fungal infections, rashes, and skin cancers (AK, BCC, SCC, melanoma).
• Perform dermatologic procedures including shave/punch/excisional biopsies, cryotherapy, lesion removal, and wound care.
• Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, interpret pathology results, and educate patients on skin health and disease prevention.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Active North Carolina NP/PA license and national certification (AANP/ANCC or NCCPA).
• Minimum 1 year of dermatology experience.
• Strong diagnostic, procedural, and patient communication skills.
• Dermatology certification (DCNP) and EMR/dermatoscopy experience are preferred.
