Job Roles And Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CAD standards across multiple system types
- Create detailed wiring diagrams, rack elevations, and dimensional drawings
- Collaborate with sales and project management teams for pre and post sales support
- Produce accurate as built drawings and documentation packages
- Support project bidding by interpreting bid documents and preparing preliminary drawings
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for technical specifications
- Work with architects, engineers, and designers for design coordination
- Maintain and improve internal drafting processes and systems
- Participate in team meetings and planning sessions
- Provide CAD related support across departments
- Represent the organization in industry events when required
- 5 to 10 plus years of experience in CAD design
- Strong ability to read and navigate architectural drawing sets
- Experience creating enlarged plans and elevations
- Proficiency in viewport management and external references
- Understanding of overlay and attach functions
- Ability to scale PDF drawings accurately to real world size
- Strong command of AutoCAD tools including previous selection, layer isolate, stretch, and align
- Knowledge of dimension settings including scale, text override, and precision
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
