This position provides substantial client contact and the opportunity to assume meaningful responsibility for legal matters. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience while working in a collaborative, sophisticated, and team-oriented environment.
The anticipated base salary range is $90,000 to $130,000 annually. Compensation will depend on relevant experience, qualifications, practice-area needs, and other bona fide factors. Candidates with an existing book of business may also be considered for additional incentive-based compensation or other mutually agreeable arrangements.

- Advising and representing clients on a broad range of legal matters.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements, pleadings, transactional and closing documents, estate-planning documents, and other legal instruments.
- Conducting legal research and preparing clear, practical written analyses.
- Communicating regularly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, government agencies, and other parties.
- Managing matters and deadlines with appropriate attorney and staff support.
- Collaborating with attorneys and professionals across offices and practice groups.
- Traveling to branch offices, courts, client locations, or other sites as business needs require.
Successful candidates should possess:
- Admission to practice law in New York State, or eligibility for admission on motion with the ability to obtain admission promptly.
- At least three years of relevant legal experience preferred; other experience levels may be considered.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong legal research, analytical, drafting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound professional judgment and careful attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and remain organized.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
- Strong client-service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other standard legal and business technology.
