Real Estate Attorney

We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of legal experience to join a growing commercial real estate transactional practice. The ideal candidate will have a background in transactional law, although prior commercial real estate experience is not required. Attorneys with regional ties and those seeking to expand their expertise in commercial real estate law are encouraged to apply.

Candidates are not required to be admitted to the Delaware Bar at the time of application but must be willing to take the Delaware bar examination after joining the firm.

• Assist with commercial real estate acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing transactions.

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, transactional documents, and other legal agreements.

• Support commercial lending transactions and related legal matters.

• Conduct legal research, property due diligence, and title-related research.

• Assist with title insurance, business entity formation, and preparation of legal opinions.

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, business associates, and public officials.

• Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to manage transactions and ensure timely completion of assignments.

• Analyze legal issues, develop practical solutions, and maintain accuracy in all legal documentation.

• 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably in transactional practice.

• Commercial real estate experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong legal research, writing, drafting, and negotiation skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Effective problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to take the Delaware bar examination if not currently admitted.
