KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform in-process and final inspections on manufactured parts
- Complete First Article Inspections (FAIs) and customer certification requirements
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gages, CMMs, and other inspection equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements
- Verify compliance with customer specifications and quality standards
- Support AS9100, ISO9001, and quality system requirements
- Mentor and train less experienced inspectors
- Partner with production teams to resolve quality concerns
- High School diploma or GED required
- 5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Manufacturing, machine shop, aerospace, medical device, sheet metal, or additive manufacturing experience
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Experience with CMMs and precision measurement equipment
- Knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, or ISO13485 quality systems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects
