KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements – Prototek maintains International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant operations in United States based facilities. This position is subject to ITAR which requires U.S. Person status. ITAR defines U.S. Person as U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, or foreign nationals granted refugee or asylee status.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure product compliance
- Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and customer certification requirements
- Interpret complex blueprints and GD&T per ASME Y14.5
- Use measurement tools and equipment (including CMM) to verify tolerances
- Support production teams in maintaining ISO 9001 / AS9100 / ISO13485 standards
- Inspect incoming parts from outside vendors
- Train and mentor junior inspectors and support team development
- Assist with audits, compliance efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives
- 5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5)
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Experience with measurement tools and inspection equipment (CMM preferred)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO13485 standards
- Experience with systems such as Mie Trak and SolidWorks preferred
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to multitask
