We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to manage daily shipping and receiving activities, material handling, inventory, and local pickups and deliveries.
This is a hands-on position that plays an important role in keeping materials and finished products moving efficiently through our facility. If you enjoy staying organized, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we’d like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Manage daily shipping, receiving, and material-handling activities
- Prepare, package, label, and ship products according to customer and carrier requirements
- Complete shipping and receiving documentation, including packing lists, certificates, tracking information, and First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation as required
- Receive and verify incoming materials for correct part numbers, quantities, documentation, and condition
- Properly identify, label, and stage materials for production
- Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods
- Support material traceability and ensure materials are properly associated with the correct work orders
- Coordinate local pickups, deliveries, and carrier schedules
- Communicate shipping priorities and material issues with supervisors and management
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and shipping area
- Identify and resolve shipping, receiving, and inventory discrepancies
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license and reliable driving record
- 1 year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office experience required
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for most of the workday
- High school diploma or equivalent
Bonus Skills — Not Required
- Forklift experience or certification
- Experience with domestic or international shipping
- Experience with UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, or other shipping services
- Experience with an ERP or inventory management system
- Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing or quality requirements
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ITAR requirements
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Full-time, in-person position
- Occasional overtime based on workload
