Plastic Surgery Northwest is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Materials & Inventory Coordinator/Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing the ordering, storage, and distribution of medical supplies, equipment, and office products across all departments, with a primary focus on our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy problem-solving, and are experienced in inventory management within a healthcare setting, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain stock levels for all departments (ASC, medical clinic, and spa), ensuring timely and accurate ordering of supplies.
- Receiving & Distribution: Oversee the receipt of inventory and ensure proper storage, as well as timely distribution to all departments.
- Stock Audits & Rotation: Conduct regular audits, cycle counts, and ensure efficient stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with department heads to assess needs, and communicate with vendors to resolve supply issues.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on inventory levels, usage trends, and costs for management review.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive data.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required; Associate’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in inventory management or supply chain management in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with inventory management software (ERP, tracking systems) is an advantage.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs as required.
