Job Description:
- The Repair Station Test Technician is responsible for carrying out the in-house servicing, testing, and repair of sophisticated company products at an established repair station.
- In this role, you will apply basic mechanical and electrical knowledge to follow set procedures and standard operational guidelines, ensuring all duties are executed with a strong emphasis on 5S, safety, calibration, and quality. Working alongside senior technicians, you will play a vital role in diagnosing hardware, software, and systems failures for key industry products.
- Troubleshoot and Repair: Perform in-house servicing, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies on repaired products using established procedures.
- Diagnose and Blueprint Analysis: Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, engineering instructions, and customer technical data to assemble and diagnose electronics units in accordance with regulations.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Prepares detailed reports for the analysis of product failure trends and serviceability issues, entering and maintaining critical data in written or electronic systems.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with product support teams to share details helpful to failure diagnostics or repair, and collaborate closely with supervisors and peers.
- System Maintenance: Focus on workplace organization and efficiency by following 5S guidelines, keeping equipment calibrated, and maintaining safety standards.
- Experience: A minimum of 1–2 years of direct experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, and machine/tool mechanics.
- Education: An Associate's degree (AS) in Electronics Technology (or a related field), or equivalent electronics military schooling is required. Significant technician experience in high-power electronics or high-power avionics may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, circuit boards, processors, chips, and industrial control/data acquisition software (such as HiPot).
- Mindset: A safety-minded problem solver with strong deductive reasoning skills who excels at analyzing technical information, identifying defects, and working collaboratively within a structured environment.

- Salary Range: $24.52-$36.79 per hour.
